Inventory

Today was inventory day at work. It turned out to be a very successful day and we actually finished up early. We all took lunch at the same time and had a pizza party which was fun.

Craig just got done painting the bathroom ceiling and it looks really nice! We went up to Menard’s and got a new shower curtain too which is exciting. It is actually the same one that we had before. It matches the wallpaper and the wall tile pretty well. We are hoping to take the wallpaper down this summer and paint. After that the bathroom should be completely, completely done (I hope). Craig is in total rework mode. He has just been working on everything lately but I have to say that everything is looking really nice.

I mentioned how Craig and all the guys played paintball last weekend. Well, Craig loved it so much that he actually bought a paintball gun online. He is so excited about it. He never fails to make me laugh. I hope that it pays off and he is able to go out and play often.

Just got done watching New Girl and now on to Fashion Star! What a good night for TV!

Spring Cleaning

This morning Craig and I went to breakfast with his parents. Every now and then we will do that and it is nice to spend some time with them. Then we came home took a nap and now we are dedicating the rest of the day to Spring Cleaning! Out with the old and in with the new! The house is starting to look really nice. Here is the picture of the finished bathroom at I promised. It’s a tiny room but it sure looks nice with the new tile and vanity!

Today is mostly dedicated to the bedrooms. I’m working on mine now and then I will work on Craig and my bedroom after he wakes up (yes, I have 2 bedrooms). I have Pandora blasting and I’m drinking coffee to keep me motivated. I am determined to get as much done as possible today. It’s a good day to be inside anyway because it is sprinkling today.

Tonight we might go out to dinner with some friends so I better get moving, I still have a lot to do!

Back to “Normal”

Craig and I are going to get back in to our routine of going to the gym tonight. It’s been about 2 weeks and we are feeling the difference. It will be nice to get back there. Hopefully, it will help to relieve the unwanted stress from job searching and what not.

Also, the bathroom is almost back to normal again too. Craig is working on installing the vanity now (picture to come). It’s been quite the process and its hard for Craig since he works 3rd shift. Can’t wait for it all to be finished!

I did stop and Barnes & Nobel yesterday and pick up a couple of books. I’m hoping to get Stedman Graham’s Identity: Your Passport to Success book finished very quickly. It looks like it will be a quick read. Maybe when I’m done I will have a better idea for the next step in my career. I did apply for a promotion at work today so we will see what comes of that in the next few weeks.

Op, we gotta run to Menard’s quick! We need a piece for the sink!

 

I’m MOH!

My cousin, Sarah, asked me to be her maid of honor last night and I couldn’t be happier. She is like a sister to me and I am so grateful to be such a big part of her special day! Today was such an exciting day for us. We spent the entire day brainstorming ideas, looking on pinterest, and making plans for the wedding. There are so many awesome idea it makes it hard but very fun! Can’t wait to see how everything turns out; it’s going to be beautiful!

On  another note, our toilet is back in the bathroom and the tile looks great. So excited to get the bathroom completely finished which should be in the next 2 days. Just need to seal the grout and install the new vanity. Brushing my teeth in the kitchen again.

There’s a toilet in my bedroom

Finally done with work for the day which feels great since it’s Saturday. Well, when I get home I walk in my room and there is the toilet. I find it funny because this isn’t something that I see everyday. Craig and Bob, a family friend, laid the new tile in the bathroom today. YAY! It looks awesome! Tomorrow they are going to do the grout and hopefully put in the new vanity and of course the toilet! (So sidetracked, just figured out how to change the color of the font).

Since we currently do not have a bathroom I am trying to stay away from liquids. Otherwise I might have to make a trip to the gas station or Target (which might be soon). Luckily, we will be out of the house tonight. Craig and I are going to visit my newly engaged cousin and her lucky fiancé! Soo happy for them!! It should make for a good night.

Now on to painting my nails…what color??
